Produced by Scott Davis, bassist of the Band of Heathens, the album is rock & roll in shades of blue. Shows to be announced soon. Gracias everyone.

Review of Live Show at Floores Country Store by JJ&B
We had a great time at Floore's Country Store in Helotes, Texas last week and I guess these folks did too. Thanks to Jesus, Jazz, and Buddhism for writing up this great review of the show!
Check it out here: http://www.jesusjazzbuddhism.org/jeff-whitehead-and-texas-music.html
"He was sincere, lyrically engaging, melodically diverse, serious about his music, filled with stage presence but not encumbered by theatricality. There was something genuine and kind of innocent about him. He sounded like a Texas singer-songwriter to us."

This Month's Recommended Album at Galleywinter
"This month’s recommended album: Jeff Whitehead – Bloodhound Heart. I’m still early in the listening of this, but it is fresh. It reminds me of when I first heard K Phillips a couple years ago. This record has a pleasing mix of styles and Whitehead’s whiskey-soaked rasp cradles each lyric with just enough care to make each line believable. Heartfelt, soulful, folksy, and hard-hitting…a must-have."
